Banff National Park, Alberta Canada

Banff National Park in Alberta is beautiful! Not the warmest place on earth, but well worth the 3,201 mile drive!

We spent Friday hiking the Marsh Trail, hiking around Lake Louise and exploring the park.

We have an excellent campsite at the Tunnel Mountain Village I campground in the park, which includes a view of the mountain (when the sun is out) and elk walking through.

We had a cold start to the morning, and it rained off and on, but in between we had bursts of sun that made Lake Louse look incredibly awesome. (we haven't really come up with a good adjective to describe it yet)

I asked a ranger where would be a good spot to see a moose and she said "Calgary."  So I am not really expecting any Moose Sightings here, but we still have plenty of time to find that elusive beast.

Saturday is predicted to be even colder, but not rainy, so we have our fingers crossed!

Nipper hates the cold and hates it here.
