The A House

The A House. Rock wood A213HW. Tent-on-wheels. Our new tiny home. We bought the A House last year so that we could travel across the country and enjoy the wilderness without freezing and having to crawl outside of the tent at 2:00 a.m. to pee.

We decided on the A Frame style camper mainly because it looks cool, but also because it is hard sided which protects us from the elements and bears.

It has everything we need and more. Inside we have a bedroom-kitchen-bathroom and outside we have the great outdoors.

We have two propane tanks for the three burner gas stove, outdoor grill and furnace. Both the refrigerator and the microwave can be reached from the cassette toilet.

We have the choice of two twin beds or a king size bed. Currently we are using the king size bed, but I guess we will see how it goes after a few months on the road in the new tiny house.

The A House was solar ready, so we purchased solar panels which will power lights, the radio and the fan. We installed an inverter which we can use to charge phones, laptops, Ipads and all the other stuff we must have to enjoy nature.
